The Charlie Bunk Bed is a clean, modern kids bunk in a crisp white finish that sleeps two while saving floor space. It is designed to meet the AS/NZS 4220:2010 bunk bed safety standard, with full length top bunk guard rails and a reversible ladder and guard rail that fits on the left or right. The top bunk is not recommended for children under 9 years, and the top bunk mattress should be no more than 20 cm high to keep the required guard rail clearance. Choose Single over Single, or Single over Double for extra room below, with about 76.5 cm of clearance between the bunks. From Dreamland, a New Zealand sleep brand.

The Charlie Bunk is designed to meet the AS/NZS 4220:2010 bunk bed safety standard, with full length top bunk guard rails on all four sides and a reversible ladder. The top bunk is not recommended for children under 9 years.

What mattress should I use on the top bunk?

Use a top bunk mattress no more than 20 cm high. A thicker mattress reduces the guard rail height above the mattress and compromises the required safety clearance.

What configurations does the Charlie Bunk come in?

The Charlie Bunk comes as Single over Single, or Single over Double for extra room on the lower bed, with about 76.5 cm of clearance between the bunks. The ladder and guard rail are reversible to fit a left or right setup.
