The Orewa Dresser with Mirror is a three drawer dresser paired with a matching mirror, both in a crisp white high gloss finish. It is the dressing table setup for modern bedrooms where a tallboy would feel too tall and a vanity too fussy, narrow enough at 99 cm wide to fit comfortably against most walls. What is the Orewa Dresser made of?
The dresser is made of MDF, an engineered wood, with a durable white high gloss finish and chrome inlay handles; the mirror is silver backed glass in a matching high gloss frame. The high gloss surface is a decorative finish, not solid timber.
Does it need assembly, is it safe against tipping, and how is the mirror fixed?
Both the dresser and the mirror arrive fully assembled, and a wall anchor safety kit is included for the dresser. As the dresser stands over 50 cm, anchor it to the wall before use to reduce the risk of tipping. The mirror is designed to be wall mounted above the dresser, with the mirror fixings user supplied to suit your wall type.
How do I care for the high gloss finish?
Dust with a soft, dry microfibre cloth and wipe marks with a lightly damp microfibre cloth, then dry immediately, as high gloss MDF is not waterproof. Avoid abrasives and solvent cleaners, and keep it out of direct sunlight, which can yellow a white high gloss finish over time.
