The slatted base lets air move under the mattress and gives steady everyday support, with an added centre rail and leg on the Double and Queen for extra stability, and the open space beneath makes cleaning or low storage easy. The Kaimai comes in King Single, Double and Queen, and each takes a standard New Zealand mattress: King Single fits 107 cm x 203 cm, Double fits 137 cm x 189 cm, and Queen fits 153 cm x 203 cm. The frame measures 112 cm wide in King Single, 142 cm in Double and 158 cm in Queen, with a 97 cm high headboard.

How much room is under the Kaimai for storage?

There is about 26 cm of clearance under the side rails, enough for low storage boxes or easy cleaning. The space is open, with no built in drawers.

Does the Kaimai need assembly?

Yes, the Kaimai arrives flat packed in three cartons and is assembled at home. The Double and Queen include a centre rail and support leg that fit during assembly.
